A selection from the Accacia Opportunity Catalogue. Always confirm the conditions and deadlines in the official source. Highlights do not confirm eligibility or guarantee funding.

    Outcomes for institutions

    Strengthen your organisation's capacity

Support more businesses without a proportional increase in manual work

Identify funding opportunities that better match each profile

Improve the quality of business plans and financial projections

Track progress and spot support needs early

    The LusoHub platform

A platform that turns information into decisions

Three integrated modules supporting institutions and founders throughout the project journey.

    Opportunity Catalogue

The platform matches each project's profile, location, sector, maturity and needs against national, European and international funding opportunities. Every result should point to the official source and flag the criteria still requiring validation.

    AI Business Plan

A guided journey helps founders develop their business model, market, strategy, operations and financial projections. AI organises information, highlights gaps and supports reflection, without replacing the user's decisions.

    Monitor programmes and participants

Institutions can follow participant activity and progress, spot missing information, see who needs support and get a consolidated view of the projects in each programme.

Platform recommendations are not a confirmation of eligibility nor a guarantee of funding. Decisions always rest with the bodies responsible for each instrument.

    Institutional audiences

Built for organisations that support businesses and founders

    Incubators and accelerators

Give participants structured tools and follow project development in a single solution.

    Universities

Support students, researchers and entrepreneurial teams in turning ideas into economically sustainable projects.

    Governments and public bodies

Strengthen entrepreneurship, innovation, territorial development and business capacity-building programmes.

    Business associations and programmes

Help SMEs and beneficiaries organise their projects and identify relevant opportunities.

    Expert services

Technology where it works. Human expertise where it counts.

The platform scales support capacity and organises information. On more complex projects, the LusoHub team and its network of specialists add analysis, experience and hands-on guidance.

These services are contracted separately and are not included in the platform subscription.

    Melanie Ligeiro

    Founder and Managing Partner

Before creating Accacia, I spent almost twenty years doing by hand the work it now automates. Since 2007 I have structured business plans, feasibility studies and funding applications in Angola and Portugal. I prepared successful applications to PRODESI, the Development Bank of Angola, Deutsche Bank credit lines and the Angola Investe programme; in Portugal, to PT2020, the PRR and Portugal 2030, including R&D projects, SIFIDE and RHAQ. I was project manager at the Europe Startup Nations Alliance, a Horizon 2020 project across 27 countries, and a consultant on the CircularInvest.eu programme. My master's thesis at Instituto Superior Técnico was on the use of artificial intelligence in preparing business plans — and that is where Accacia comes from.

    • Almost 20 years in management and funding consulting
    • Successful applications in Portugal, Angola and European programmes
    • Master's in Information and Business Systems — Instituto Superior Técnico
    • BA (Hons) Business Enterprise — University of Birmingham
    • Mentor at VC4A and Cabo Verde Digital
